Learning Trompe L'oeil
I've always loved the squashed bug style and decided I should practice, something I hate. I want a finished product when I'm done, but Dame Maminka gifted me some small books of watercolour paper and I figured they should get used. Plus the Baroness wanted to host scribal at a social and here we are.
The shadows should be in tones of brown because the black is too cool. A couple of muddy parts I didn't bother fixing since it was practice. And the veins are too light.
The lobes of the berry were too small so I covered up the black lines by making the berry riper and enlarging them with shading.
